Old friends

We had lunch with our friends today in a lovely old pub that they think might date back to the 17th century. The friends are both 80 this year so it was nice to celebrate with them. They have had a life with a lot of loss and tragic events and have soldiered on through it all and reached this age together. It was a privilege to be with them today.
