Sign at Mile End station

I was waiting for G at Mile End station today. This sign has caught my eye before. There are a few signs on the underground that look really old, some seem to be painted onto walls. This is one of the signs that I find interesting. I haven't been able to find out how old it is but it certainly looks like it is from another time.
Quite a busy day today. Some meetings. Some successes helping people. Lunch in the pub. Off to Kerrie and Eve's for a few christmas drinks after work. Lovely.
