Early one morning...

I've never been able to capture the sunrise before - mainly because I don't get up early enough and if I do get up early enough I'm not in the right place. This morning the seagulls woke me up and I realised that they were contributing to the dawn chorus. I felt quite awake, I knew it was about 30 minutes before sunrise so I got up and had a lovely hour playing with my camera and watching the sunrise over the far side of the Fal estuary. The one I liked most was this one - a really big ship which began to glow gold and then took on a burning reflection in the river.

Went back to bed then!
