Beth's Catty

"Jesus said, ‘Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.’" Matthew 19:14

Today's picture is of Beth's (my daughter) Catty. She has had this cat since she was just a year old, and you can see it is very well loved. Catty has been repaired several times by Nanny and so is still going strong. As I have chosen a soft toy for my picture today, this led me to think about Bible verses that are about children, and this one is my favourite. It shows how important Jesus viewed children. He uses this as an example to tell us we should be like children to enter the kingdom of heaven. I think this means to be innocent, not embarrassed, joyful, enjoying life, to believe without boundaries, to have faith. Jesus was not worried about children making noise around him, he wanted to teach them and bless them. I am inspired by people who work with children, this is an amazing and vitally important work...
