Hot Air Balloons

Today was another fun day.
We got up quite late and had pancakes for breakfast. Then Bethany and I went for a walk along a road near their house. It has loads of different shops. I managed to find some clothes in a few charity shops for Borneo.

We then bought picnic food and met up with Gareth and Bethany (his sister) who arrived in Bristol this morning. (Yes, Gareth is married to my sister Bethany and his own sister is also called Bethany... it can get a bit confusing at times!!)

We went to the Bristol docks for our picnic which was lovely and then had a slow walk back up through the city to their flat, stopping off to see the cathedral.

Everyone was quite tired once we got back so we rested for a while and then and went to a lovely country park. There were loads of people going off in hot air balloons! about 9 ballons altogether, I think, and we got to see them really close up. Quite exciting!

In the evening Will & Izzy (2 of Bethany & Gareth's friends) came round and we had a delicious dinner and sat around talking until quite late!
