Oh happy day!!

What a beautiful sunny day. For those that have been reading my painful week of writing my first two chapters of my dissertation can share my joy that I finished it at the weekend. So all ready for a re-read later tonight (needed a weekend away from it) before it gets emailed off for a read through and possibly slating and given constructive criticism to improve it. It took my until Saturday morning to have finished the 8000 words of my introduction and review of literature. I am pretty pleased with the results so will email it off and have a meeting with my supervisor a week thurs to find out what I need to change. Then its on to the next stage.

My absence was for two reasons over the week - I was exhausted and needed to be away from my computer but also just found myself too busy with some others things to take photos - bad i know. We spent the weekend with our lovely neighbours - drinks and chatting all afternoon and evening Saturday and off out to a vintage fair - but hubby got the wrong day, so ended up having food and drinks in our garden. Plenty time for a blip I hear you cry but time just got away from me and needed the break.

But today has been a lovely day - I have had my first proper lay in this morning for the holiday. Then went to drop off a birthday present to my boss and a cuppa and a catch up. Then popped to my Mums to say hello.

The end of the day has been spent in a little local woods - literally next door to my school and their bluebells had come out. I never knew the bluebells appeared here of all places - we have travelled for miles before now to see them and photograph them. Yet I had some 5 mins from my house. I was a little spoilt for choice of photo but chose this one because you could see a cobweb at the end and for some reason really like this shot. What a wonderful day!
