Brightest things on a dull day

Had a slightly fractious family bike ride from Santa Croce to Prosecco for a very ordinary lunch and then back via the other side of the valley. Weather dull but the day was brightened by the occasional roadside clumps of purple iris. This one had a colourful resident.
