Hidden Gardens
I first visited Plas Cadnant Hidden gardens near Menai Bridge last summer with my dear friend Doffy.
They are 19th century gardens that since 1996 have been restored to their former glory, with flower borders and woodland paths that lead down to the Cadnant river in the valley, it has waterfalls and natural streams tumbling through the rocks, and at this time of the year a bluebell glade and lots of different varieties of magnolias & azaleas in bloom.
Mr Toad hadn't been before so we had a pleasant couple of hours wandering through. It only opens two afternoons a week so it's quite secluded.
We had a very nice scone & coffee break too
