Marathon stars

Les, Mavis, Linda and Mo - and Colin (who was too quick for me to snap!) - brilliant runs - well done.

Up at 5am this morning and in Woolwich before 6:30. Mrs S and I were helping out on the elite runners’ first drinks stop, with our chum Bob and others. Les arranged the set-up, them popped-off to run the marathon.

Mo managed to pick up his bottle this year (he missed it last time).

We moved from Woolwich to Westferry, where we met Elaine and Dave, then on to join Mavis and Linda at the Help the Hospices’ finisher’ event in the QE2 building.

Mrs S and I were worn out by the end, but not quite as worn out as the gallant runners.

A grand day out.
