Spilling

This is the Hawea River which flo’s out of Lake Hawea (Oh Surprise there) which is a controlled lake with a mini dam.
At this time of year water resourses for power generation start to run low so if the spill gates are opened here, the water will flow down and join the Clutha and all the powerstations below that. (lots…A dog can’t kno everything)
This is where we walked today and as you can tell it was a tad cool altho the advertised rain on The Boss’s sheep (weather) app didn’t happen.
There was a lively discussion at Coffee afterwards so I hear. Sorry but I cannot reveal the technology that allowed this as it would might lead to security searches on dog collars and other K9 attachments, so you will just have to take my word for it BUT…..
It was about IRONING…OH THAT!!
A lot of really interesting stuff, where it was revealed:
NO ONE ironed T shirts or sweats…YES there were a number of “older” females there.
Casual shirts were treated casually. Refer to the 10 minutes thing below.
Someone had a granny who ironed socks.
Someone had a granny who believed that ironing was very bad for clothes as it burnt all the oxygen up.
There WAS a granny who had left a non controlled iron on for a Loooong time. (forgotten) and burnt out. It was replaced with a controlled one and luckily the house was not burnt down. (she cycles a lot I hear)
There was almost universal agreement on the “10 minutes in the dryer on low” process. Many males participated actively in this part of the discussion. I am prevented by my employment contract from revealing The Boss’s position except he was sitting at the head of the table eating Citrus slice.
