Bike Maintenance

Today was the last Den meeting for the Cub Scout Bears. They now become Webelos. Today's meeting was a picnic and a meeting on bike safety and maintenance. Fortunately, James is a former bike mechanic, so he was the perfect man for the job.

Although the picnic was fun for all the human beings, it was Cleo who had the best time. She met a kindred spirit and the two raced around the park and even in the lake. I had never seen Cleo in the water before. She really seemed to enjoy it, although perhaps not swimming when she got to the deeper area. Once the dog went home, Cleo enjoyed lots of attention from all of the scouts and their families. She had a fantastic day.
