MonoMonday: Metal

I feel that the essence of metal lies in its shine and its patina. Here is a steel pipe which is part of a rugged scaffolding fence around a local construction site. It seemed to be shining prettily and showing evidence of a "tough metallic life". So I figured, "Why not?"
