Flying High

It was a gorgeous day today so my daughter and I went out this afternoon cameras in hand to the forbidden wilds of…….well, I won’t say where because it’s forbidden, but we went anyway and found this magnificent fellow lazing about the sky without a care in the world. I liked the way the sun hit his wing and highlighted his feathers. Eagles are so beautiful and it’s just a hypnotic experience to watch them fly. As much as we would have liked to hang around and watch him, we moved on and so, it turned out, did he.
