London Marathon

London was absolutely hoaching with people today as the London Marathon was underway.

After going to church at All Souls we wandered down towards the race route. This was at the 25 mile point. I really take my hat off to anyone who runs this event. Those who know me know that I don't run anywhere (can run up the stairs, that's about my limit).

These runners were cheered on by the crowds on the bank of the Thames under the watchful eye of the London Eye :)

A beautiful sunny day, London looked great in the sunshine.

We had lunch in The Slug and Lettuce. A fab name for a restaurant, sort of place you expect to find in a Harry Potter book :)
