Wild and beautiful.....

After a very good Palm Sunday service at church, we headed for a particular show of bluebells today. We parked on the edge of Polhill Garden Centre which was very busy, then cut across fields following footpath signs pointing in the direction of Halstead village. The lambs were totally undisturbed by us and continued with their grazing. A fox did stop to watch us before running off into the trees.

We didn't find the bluebells. It is thought now we should have turned in the opposite direction! But I did pick these beautiful wild flowers growing along the road side. I can name some but others I shall have to look up. So although we eventually decided to turn back and retrace our steps, with a view to "better luck next time," I am very happy with my little posy.
