Patch Up, Catch Up

No entries for months :( sorry. Ill be honest, I havent touched the Victory since its last entry. Health and home have intruded a bit, but ive managed to get caught up on the knit & Stitch patches, and have now run out until the next delivery of wool. But thats the second quarter put together. I have had a bit of a brain wave for it once all 4 parts are complete. Since no matter where I put the finished blanket, it will get covered in cat!(or dog, or kids) and will probably require regular washing. The thing as a whole(100 patches) will be too big and heavy for the washing machine, so, rather than sew the 4 parts together, I'm going to crochet a border around each quarter and then attach them together with buttons. That way i dont need to wash the whole thing every time. Clever wot!

Anyhoo, with no wool for patches just now, ive picked up the tiger cross stitch again to work on at home, and ive started knitting a dress for myself which i take out and about in the car to kill time hanging around when playing family taxi.
