Pigeon on Feed Tray

For some reason or other the BirdCam didn't fire when this pigeon landed on the bird feedtray. He looks so big and fat it's a wonder the tray didn't give way under his weight! It was a coincidence that I had a camera in my hand and captured him at that moment. I think part of the problem is that the BirdCam is mounted on a tree that sways in the perpetual wind we are getting at the moment - will have to get a more static mount for it! Today's captures were starlings, chaffinches, sparrows and yellowhammers - all birds that have already featured in my blips.

Watched two episodes of Xena this afternoon!
