One Hundred And Eighteen Years...

.... of helping lazy people get up stairs! This year sees the 118th anniversary of the first working escalator, some thirty seven years after the initial patent was filed.

I know what you are thinking... how did you manage to take such a fantastic photograph without giving in to temptation yourself? Well, I didn't, but my use of the escalator was purely in the name of investigative research!
