Lukesland Gardens.
We went to Lukesland gardens today to see the spring flowering Shrubs. Stunning Magnolias and Rhododendrons. The smaller Azaleas are yet to bloom, so another visit might be in order!! It is a superb garden on the edge of Dartmoor, about 7 miles from where we live, and only opens on Sunday, Wednesday afternoons, and bank holidays until the middle of June. If you look at Vectensians journal, you will see other photos!
There is also a private garden at this house, which I was able to visit several years ago now, - and there they grow unusual shrubs, mainly evergreen types, that they sell to Covent Garden in London, for the florists.
So my set of photos today are some of the babbling brooks that flow through the garden, Rhododendrons, the house, and a lovely gateway that leads into another part of the garden.
Hope you are having a good Sunday, and as much sunshine as we are having here!
