Looking for pubs!

I have agreed to be responsible for the Welcome Pack of information offered to new residents of the village. I thought I had better check that the "pubs" section had accurate information and also give them the opportunity to include their brochure/leaflet in our pack.
Well that just shows how ancient I am! Bar one, none of them had leaflets, brochures or even calling cards. They all rely on the internet to advertise their service.
Two had shut up shop, 3 were high end price-wise and empty, one had not opened up at 11.30am, two were ready and expectant but the one that was humming with two sittings and no time to talk to me was serving standard pub grub at affordable prices in our very own village!
Disappointingly, I was not offered refreshment at any of them!
