Marylebone Station

From High Wycombe to London to visit camera shops and the National Portrait Gallery.

Marylebone Station dates from the 19th century, I assume. How the travelling public must then have marvelled at the brilliant new technology which allowed engineers to enclosed such vast spaces. The steam which would have filled those spaces is now rarely, if ever, present to lend atmosphere but the majesty of these girders remains.
