President Bouteflika "le mort vivant"

.. up for re-election next week 17th April. No Arab Spring here. People will choose stability even if it means a continuation of a corrupt and stagnant regime, as many remember only too well the "dark years" (1990-2000) of horrendous violence between the armed forces and the islamists. (cf. Egypt today!)
