Elephants

My new camera came. With battery charged I managed to take a few pictures to test it out and am amazed at how great the zoom is and how sharp the images are even at the most telephoto end. The anti-shake mechanism clearly works. But I failed to find how to move the pictures from the camera to anywhere else. My old card reader was too old and does not support the present format of memory card. The wi-fi seemed to set up fine - but failed to transmit any images to my PC (or tablet for that matter.) I could not even find a direct USB connection from camera to PC.

The elephants, therefore are an 'emergency blip'. The standing elephant was, I think, a present from a student of mine years ago. (But memory fails, so I could be wrong!) He stands on a scarf which was a recent gift to my wife: it too is much loved.
