Up the hill a bit, behind Munlochy. Apologies. Another boring last minute snap tonight. It had looked better in the (short-lived) sunlight.
Very windy day. Cold, with some heavy showers about. Much the same forecast for tomorrow. Crops are starting to grow. Not many trees in leaf yet.
Cleaned up, fully straightened, and re-riveted the front mudguard of my main bicycle, after Tuesday evening's damage. Then took it for test ride in the sunlight this evening. A minor tweak has it now like new once more, aside from the mudflap. Decided to leave that off, then it will be less likely to catch things that might break the mountings - again - I hope.
That sunlight was rapidly suppressed by a wall of cloud coming from the West and North. There looked to be a big soaking coming, and that wind was darned cold. So a couple of shivery snaps, and pedaled back down the steep hill to home. The extra layers I'd put on, were not enough for that factor of wind-chill.
An attempt at baking was more successful than last week. Though there's plenty scope for improvement. The fact that the birds didn't receive any this week, unlike last, must be a good sign. Perhaps...
