Forgot

Yesterday I forgot several times about the picture (still so busy trying to get my little nest finished), but I am determine to post a photo per day.
I decided to check out what I could do with my computer and found the "x-ray".
I made very weird pictures. Chose this one because it reminded me of a blog I read the other day about the victorian times; in which people had post mortum photos made of their loved ones. In these pictures the deceased was prepared to look as alive and posing for the camera (no smile of course! At the end of the day we are talking about victorian times).
I found it quite creepy, but also interesting.
This also makes me think of a…let's call it "niche fashion"…in which people make the portrait photograph that they want to be displayed in their tombs. They go to a studio and have professional make-up and hairdressing, they choose their favourite outfit and voilà! their image for posterity.
