Peace Avenue

What a miserable cold day for a field trip but go we did. Of course with the overcast conditions and the rain the saturation of colour in the Autumn leaves was much heightened.
Some days one struggles to get a photo to blip and then like today one has so many to pick from.
I have chosen the avenue of oaks at Fairlie called the Peace Avenue planted after the war. At this time of the year they are so beautiful although not fully coloured up yet.
Some of the trees around the town were so beautiful. All in all a successful day but glad to get home and light the fire.
