Bus window view
I'm so behind on my blips and I'm finally catching up.
I snapped this shot from out the bus window. Light receding, the clouds floating above the mountains. We are on the way to Loja, and then Zamora through the Southern Sierra. When we finally arrived in Zamora near midnight all you could see was this huge neon clock etched on a hillside over this frontier town. A truly bizarre scene to arrive to gazing out scratched bus windows in the darkness arriving in the foothills of the jungle. Its warm and tropical here. We are on the very edge of the Amazon basin, down from the chilly air and stark ridges of the sierra. It is as lush and sultry as a summer night. Slower, lower, languid as a snake....
