'Emma' by Mer (Badajoz)

. A bit of a sleepless night last night and so was one of the first customers this morning at the local food market, having coffee there at 6.30am while Bb and Dd were still asleep! We all had a hot dog for lunch, then Dd and I took the metro into the centre. (Bb was going out with friends to celebrate one of their 50th birthdays). We went to the old food market in El Borne, which is now a cultural centre. A few years ago while it was being renovated they found old city ruins and so the renovation had to stop, the ruins were preserved and the rest of the space was turned into a cultural centre for the area. Very interesting to see! I took a few photos, but decided to put this on instead. This is a sculpture in another art space in El Borne. We had coffee in a wee place near the Picasso Museum. Dd decided I should have new shoes, so was on a mission and there was no stopping her! I'm now wearing new navy blue moccasins - thanks Dd! Dinner at my favourite restaurant in Barcelona - Romescos. Non-meat eaters turn away....we always have liver here. It's special too as our late dad also loved this place.
