Getting in practice

This scene struck me as rather entertaining given the plans for the Commonwealth opening ceremony. An idea so typically Glasgow (I mean, where else would even consider doing something similar), but so dismissive of the experience of many, not just the folk who lived there and those who still do, but also the living conditions of so many across the Commonwealth, who will likely find such a gesture bizarre in the extreme. But so Glasgow!
