Chaffinch

Today the weather was a not as nice as expected but this afternoon the sun did show its face but was windy and cool but took a walk down by the side of the river to take a few shots.
Again most of the birds decided to hide from me but did manage a few shots of a pair of Chaffinches . This shot shows the male hopping along a branch which in its self has quite a bit of texture to it .Not one of my best bird photos but as usual point the camera and they went into hiding .
Going to go out this evening with one of my best mates to have a couple a beers so looking forward to that hope you all have a good evening
