Edinburgh from the Scott Monument

Last night I flew to Edinburgh (arriving an hour late) to stay with Anna and see Jane. Today we had a big breakfast, then went up the Scott monument. It was nice up there, with good views - but narrow spiral stairs and not enough room for the people at the top. We almost got stuck up there! We then went for tea and cake in Jenner's, then to a pub to watch the Grand National - I bet on six horses and only one won me some money!

We went for dinner at a tiki canoe place, then for cocktails in a bar nearby, then on to Rose Street for more drinks. A good night!
