Thistle pottery

The site of two bottle kilns dated 1906-1909 are all that remains of Portobello's Thistle pottery. The site was a fairground as I remember from the mid 1960's on. The fairground fell into disrepair and now the site is being developed for housing.


Went for a walk to get the air...big mistake home to rest.
