the blue city and it's inpenetrable fort

our first and only full day in jodpur.

first stop an eggy breakfast with the omelette man at his omelette shop. apparently he gets through 1000 eggs a day, all thanks to a name check in THE BOOK (lonely planet) a few years back

the afternoon was full of a climb up through the blue city to the mehrangarh palace for a tour of some more fortifying culture. not quite to jaisalmer standard but very decent all the same.....

earlier we'd found out that the archaic ricoh r2 camera we're blipping with has it's limitations (to say the least). a quick discussion over a kingfiaher beer and we're now on the hunt for an slr to justify the beauty we see every day. watch this space......
