Busy bee......
Delighted to say, accommodation problem has been sorted, and all by word of mouth, which made our hands- on/face- to- face method prove worthwhile. ...
...which left us with time to enjoy the beautiful day and glorious sunshine and after lunch in the town centre, we headed for the marina where it was SO silent and still. The yachts and cruisers moored here were completely out of our league but I can admire a beautiful thing when I see it without wanting to have it.
The coastal path was so beautiful too with brilliant yellow oil seed rape ripening in the fields, fresh green leaves opening on the trees and carpets of bluebells sheltering in the shade. SO quiet, yet nature was SO busy today. I heard this bumble bee before I saw him. I didn't see his fellow worker until I looked at my pictures. I LOVE these walks!
I walked with many thoughts of dear friends for whom today was a day of remembrance and I send them my love.
Home safely along quiet 'A' roads, enjoying the longer evenings spring gives us.
