Grey Monday.....

.....Owen has been receiving a big dose of antibiotics this last week as his ankle injury is infected and the skin is refusing to knit together. The doc is talking about one final week of antibiotics and then off for plastic surgery if progress is not satisfactory.
Boy, am I in trouble when I break the news to Mrs Scobes as she comes out of her exam this afternoon....Owen on the other hand is very excited at the prospect of plastic surgery. I think I'll play that element up in my defence.

More importantly, the Christmas tree lights worked straight out of the box this evening....phew.
