No Smoking in public places?

Our ferry, the MV Isle of Lewis, getting steam up prior to its Sunday sailing to the Scottish mainland. Last year, her engines were converted for the use of heavy fuel oil and since then she has put in a passing resemblance to a floating version of Mount Etna. It is supposed to be more efficient and all that, but she is leaving a colossal carbon footprint - or should that be carbon wake.
