Granddads Army......

......my Ma told me a couple of days ago that she'd found a picture of her Dad online and, seeing as it's a bit of a murky morning (understatement!), I thought it was a passable emergency indoor blip that didn't include the almost inevitable food or cats. So, can I introduce my Granddad, Jonathan 'Jonty' Clementson (aka TEC, always in caps, on his many betting slips) front row/far left in his Home Guard days.....and, as an added bonus, my Ma's godfather Robert 'Dinger' Liddle 3 seats to the right. Dinger was my Granddads 'marra' down the pit and habitually came round of an evening to rework the shift they'd just finished....this time in words not deeds;-) Y'know my Granddad LOVED new technology, he would have got a real buzz out of appearing on the interwebs......

And of course now I've opted for an indoor blip the sun will probably come out......I live in hope......
