Jungleland
Day 11: border day.
Sellers took the crossing at Paso Canoas as a protest against the government's closing down businesses. We didn't knew how long it would last (it ended after an hour), and Hubby is incapable of waiting. We drove off to the third border in Rio Sereno, where we went through all the formalities in 15 minutes... and then reached the Costa Rican custom. Our car needed a permit to enter - a paper that we already did on day one, had to give back when leaving for Panama, and were supposed to get back anywhere.
Except custom was not there. They were all in Paso Canoas, but do not worry, they are committed to come here in 1 hour!
... which translated in 4 hour waiting, and then crazy driving to get to Danta lodge before dusk (or almost).
Landscape, on both sides of the border, was amazing and really worth the adventure.
