Estelas en la mar

The first day of my second life

Yesterday was the perfect holiday: playing and having siestas with baby, while hubby walks a lot and waits on a boat to be drove back.
I understood why every hotel here is called Something Jungle and Beach resort. We really sleep in rhe jungle! Cross frogs on our way home and listen to hauling monkeys at night. The vegetation is amazing.
Romeo made friend with a little swiss in the swuimming pool, Joel. We can only communicate with hands and very few german words, but it's fun!

Day 4: visit to the Mariposario and Jaguar rescue center with Granny.
Little monkey is being fed and taken care of by volunteers, who will put her back in the wild as soon as she can cope with it.

All this I could not have enjoyed if an angel surfer didn't save me this morning from ripe die. I went playing with the waves, didn't really intent to swim, and I did the mistake to float under 2 or 3 waves. When I looked back, I realised I was very far from sore and could not swim back. Plus the waves were very string and just breaking over me, which contributed to drama. I could only think of my baby and that I might not see him again. I needed to keep calm to get out of there.
I tough I needed to catch a surfer, but there were only a few and the sea was too troubled to see them. Then this young boy appeared from nowhere. I screamed at him. He heard at the 3rd attempt, put me on the table and swam me back. When I could stand on my feet he said: "is it ok here?"
I only went: thanks. Didn't even looked at him and walked away. I was so eager to get out of there. He went back to his surf and disappeared in the sea, just like he had come. I went back to the beach a couple of times, but could never see him again.

So this is for you, my angel: if you ever read this, you'll know I will be forever and ever grateful. I owe you my life. Bless you.
