Remembrance of things past

The picture of the ford at Eynsford in the book here was taken for the 1930 edition of Bell's Pocket Guide to Kent. The scene doesn't seem to have changed much in 84 years. This was the end of a nine-mile walk today covered by the FT Old Lags
