From the Back Porch!
It feels good to be back in the studio, glazing...loading the kiln....starting the kiln - with the familiar feelings of 'i hope they are ok'.....and listening to a book on CD.
It's a different sort of day when i'm glazing and loading. Most of the time (about 5 hours) i am standing, lifting and moving about the work space. So there is a good tired feeling in my bones this evening, as i sit here, with a glass of wine and some lovely emails to deal with. A very old friend from my life in Muskoka found me a few months ago, gotta love this internet stuff....she had no idea where i was and we'd sort of just lost touch! We've started emailing again and it feels to good - there is something so rich and irreplaceable where old friendships are concerned.
So i'm happy to be in touch with her again, and hear of how her life has been meandering and changing!
Thank God It's Friday eh.....hahahaha...Terry and i often say this even altho it has absolutely no meaning in our lives...still just fun to join in!
