Saw the Vivian Maier documentary today ... excellent!

If you haven't heard about her, she was a nanny that managed to amass a staggering 100,000+ images of powerful street photography in Chicago and NY, effectively chronicling a generation. None of her works were printed during her lifetime, and they only came to light when someone bought a box of her negatives from a storage shed auction. Jason Maloof set about discovering who she was and collating all of her work. Amazing to think all these incredible images could have been thrown out without anyone seeing them.
