Coot Karma

I always thought that coots were noisy aggressive birds. This one changed my mind! It was just so relaxed and let me approach quite closely to take my blip for the day. This was at Inverleith boating pond so I guess they are quite used to lots of people looking at them. A bit of a photographer's nightmare though. I had to work the shadows and highlights quite a lot to get a reasonably balanced image.
