View from the Colpatria Tower
We had a Latin Link Bogotá team meet up, where almost all of the Latin Link missionaries in Bogotá got together to have some fun. Naomi and I made shepherds pie and bakewell for lunch, then we went into town to go up the Colpatria tower, which is the tallest building in Bogotá and has a viewing platform from the top, from which you can look out across the whole city and the surrounding mountains. There was also a carnival in the centre which we came across, full of dancers and percussion ensembles, which was so great to see! We then finished off the day in a very typical Colombian café eating lots of delicious snacks for dinner, including cheese in hot chocolate, which is much better than I had feared it might be!!
