New Pen

I was going to blip my old pen three weeks ago under "I for Ink" but decided to go with Ivy instead. Now I've got a new pen so it's almost the start of a collection.

I've always seen myself as a writer. Even though my favourite subjects at school were foreign languages and maths, for some reason I saw myself as a journalist. I aspired to be the next Polly Toynbee or Jill Tweedie. It didn't happen, of course.

I realise now that it's the act of writing that interests me; give me a nice pen and a blank sheet of paper and I'm happy.
