Joy

When I was in London a few weekends ago, I couldn't help but notice how many magnolia trees there were in bloom. Coupled with the cherry blossom, they brought a scene of delicate beauty to the built up environment. Now in Edinburgh, I have this week seen several magnolia trees full of creamy white flowers. Such a wonderful sight. Today it was sunny but a bit chilly. I did my first bike commute to and from work since the Autumn - it was great to be in the fresh air rather than stuck on a stuffy bus.
