The Day After

Slept like a log last night. But couldn't concentrate on work this morning. Had a proper Friday feeling and with a hair appointment booked this afternoon, I just couldn't be bothered to start any of the big tasks on my to-do lists.

Hair appointments and pampering will be a thing of the past on childcare days from now on as my work is piling up - just in time for summer, boo! So I relished today. Had lunch and a glass of wine in The Grill on the Alley and then spent a few hours getting my colour redone (see pic). It doesn't look much different but feels a lot better.

Missed Audrey though. I can't stop that guilty ache when I'm not with her and yet I'm doing non-work things. Will have to make it up to her this weekend...
