Rabbit Cemetery

Here lies beloved pet rabbit Mr Bump.
He met with a sad end (old age) last November, age 8.
Unfortunately the sad end came the day before Hollie's most recent operation, so we didn't dare tell her as she was so attached to him.
We knew she would want to bury him, but couldn't face a rotting rabbit while she recovered enough to face the news.
So we ended up paying for him to be cremated.

In the event she received the news very badly and went into official mourning for a week. She even received sympathy cards from her friends.

She buried his ashes single handedly and marked the spot with these ornaments.

It was very traumatic all round!
