On "Carlsheaven"
Down in the valley you
reside as confirmation
of this Joining, of both
the streams you are the
bridging and eternal
confluence of life and
death, of fertile soil below
the humid mysty sky.
You lay so old and lazy
on your back, your finger
faithful pointing in the
gentle greyish clouds; so
silent, pious and serene.
You are my last resort as
for the bleeding passions
of my heart you offer free
asylum, and abode anew
secure and firm as all
your white painted walls.
While time is whirling
with the riverstreams
you stay the same safe
haven as you remain
our promised town of
free born love, breathing
rhythm in your grounding
this Garden from Heaven,
Place to be as destiny.
