Root canal saga, part 4

Today was my first appointment with the dental specialist in Bordeaux, and this was the view from the window of his waiting room! My friend L was across the road finishing her lunch while I was on the waiting room, so I was watching out for her.
We drove down to the park and ride and got the tram into the city, a bit of an adventure as neither of us had done that before and weren't altogether sure of where we were going, but we didn't get lost.
L had volunteered to come with me in case I felt too woozy to drive back, but all I got was an X Ray and assessment today, with a 2 hour appointment for next month. The dentist said I had a crack in the tooth and if he found it went all the way down, the tooth would have to be pulled out, only I would have to go back to my own dentist for that, as he doesn't pull teeth out!
Oh well, it was very pleasant day out walking around Bordeaux in the sunshine!
